I'd say almost every time I drive my Vette (keep in mind the engine is pretty stock and it's not very fast) someone, young or old (crusty) wants to race!
I was in traffic Tuesday on my way home from work and some guy in a 5.0 next to me (with a dump truck right in front of him) starts hopping on it and looking at me! What did he want to do, race for two feet? All I could think was: "What a dumbass, no wonder he's driving a 5.0." cYa- Herb Lumpp 1966 El Camino, LS6, 6 spd, Currie 9" ACES 3509, MCC 528 http://users.adelphia.net/~hlump/ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul O'Brien" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "chevelle-list" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, July 18, 2002 8:32 AM Subject: [Chevelle-List] Race is on > Have you guys experienced old guys that want to show you how fast his > Buick or Lincoln is by stepping on it at stops.
