Hi Mark,   I have a 700r-4 in my 76 Vette.  It was built by Premiere Performance about 6 or 7 years ago.  I like it a lot and haven't had any problems with since I installed it.  The engine that used to be in the Vette was about 325hp or so and it ran 13.8/9 @ 99-100mph w/ 3.70 gears.  Not super powerful or abusive to the trans but a decent combo overall.  The engine that's in the Vette these days is even less hp but it still goes good.   I personally would never go back to the TH350 that was in it.  Especially when I hit the highway w/ overdrive! cYa-   Herb Lumpp 1966 El Camino, LS6, 6 spd, Currie 9" ACES 3509, MCC 528 http://users.adelphia.net/~hlump/ ----- Original Message ----- From: Mark Weber To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, July 25, 2002 3:41 PM Subject: RE: [Chevelle-List] Transmission Bad.
