thanks for the answer. i was sure there was some sort of laws but I'm sure they are buried back in some archives somewhere. if anyone on the list has any idea where i could either look for these laws i would appreciate it.
on another subject! by any chance do you think you could toolbox out a 4L80E for me? well i didn't think so! as far as I'm concerned that trany is the best trany made. I have one in my 98 GMC SLT 3500 4 x 4 regular cab. I was hoping to put one in my chevelle but I have gotten bids of like 4200-4500 to do it. oh well I guess a th400 and gear vender OD will have to do.
