In my opinion I find it hard to believe that one of the 200 production Z-16 Chevelles was a convertible For two reasons. One is because they were built with very limited amount of variance in the options selection. Even the color selection was limited. Two is they were built on a convertible frame so Chevy engineering must have been nervous about body flex of the 2 door and a convertible would have more body flex and cowl shake. The 201 number counts one prototype. I guess it was possible that a Chevy executive could have had one built (making the total 202) like the 1968 convertible Z/28 but I would think a picture of it would have surfaced by now. IMO
