Yeah, but any Muncie 4 speed is pretty rugged. A friend of mine with a drag car once pointed out to me that I do a hole shot about maybe once every couple weeks at the most and I almost never slam shift the thing. He correctly pointed out that I like to THINK I'm something of a hotrodder, but the reality is I can't afford to pick up a four point ticket. And, frankly, I've grown much much more careful in any area that even LOOKS like there might be kids lurking somewhere. Therefore, in the rare cases where I do let the thing out a bit, it's always an expressway or some other relatively remote location. I suppose even an early model Muncie will endure my lightweight use for YEARS without trouble.
