Chad,  I had a 53 Stude just like the one in your picture in high school (64-65).  I bought it from my brother.  The car had a 389 pontiac, 3 speed hydromatic trans, and 3.90 gears in the rear.  It was blown up when I got it.  I rebuilt the motor and installed a isky cam, and a pontiac tri-power.  I built the headers at home, stripped the interior, and took it to Fremont Drag Strip (Baylands) in Fremont Ca.  The car went 13.7 and 105 in the quarter.   Larry Williams 65 SS 427      ----- Original Message ----- From: Chad Playso To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, August 01, 2002 5:35 PM Subject: [Chevelle-List] What kind of car is this???
