I have Polygraphite bushings in my Vette, the ride is fine,
the bushings squeak a bit, but the exhaust is loud enough to drown out the
squeaking.
I have Del-a-lum bushings throughout my Elky, they don't
squeak (I'm assuming because once again the exhaust is pretty
loud) but the ride is a bit rough. I'm not sure if the rough ride is
because of the bushings or the 17" wheels & tires or the combo of the
two.
If you're not looking for a performance or ride characteristic
change but want to bring your suspension back to "like new" then I would suggest
going with new rubber bushings all around. Get new coil springs and shocks
while you're at it and the car will ride great.
