I would say to talk to guys in your area that install vinyl tops. I had bought a top from Year One and brought it to a local installer. He said the Year One vinyl was "junk" and showed me the top material that he uses which did appear to be thicker and stronger material. The Year One top looks closer to the original then the material he had. My 69 Chevelle top is a few yeas old and still looks good but the car is always garaged.
