| By the way, those of you who have tried to glue the rear bumper pad back on your '70 Chevelle bumper know how hard it is to get the old glue off the pad. I did mine the other day and used one of the 3M pads that is like plastic steel wool that you can stick on a 90 degree die grinder. About, oh, maybe 2 and 1/2 inches across. It took the glue off in about three minutes and left a nice rough surface for the fresh glue. Ten minutes later the job was d-o-n-e. CAE |
