Went through that on my 66 the big hang up is the PS pitman arm Is different the small end that hooks to your drop link has a smaller taper than the one that is on your car now. So you need the drop link fitting off the doner car. I was stuck at that point & since I own a machine shop I fixture'ed the pitman arm in my lathe & bored the taper out to the bigger size.
