I have been offered
a 454 boat motor for free and I took the casting numbers of the rear of the
block but cannot find what this block is... rear casting # 8989289
GM T-12 Block was built by Thermo Electron
Engine Corp.... I'm hoping someone here can decipher this number, as it
does not come up on the websites...I have to pull the motor myself to get it so
I want to be what I'm getting this weekend.
