Unfortunately, I do not have enough knowledge on the
subject to speak - or write about it accurately. I believe it was
used as a way to test the turn signals, headlights (?), from the drivers
seat. There was also a piece that was mounted on the rear speaker shelf,
that monitored the rear lights, that could be viewed through the rear view
mirror. It could also be used as a reminder that you left your turn
signals on, etc.
