Anyone ever use these on a big block? I have a standard 1 1/2" top hose and 1 3/4" bottom hose. Coolflex recommends one 2" coupler and one 2" adapter with 1 3/4" reducer for the lower hose. Why the 2"? Both the lower water pump hose and lower radiator hose connections are 1 3/4" aren't they?
