I jacked it up with my engine hoist one end at a time and used concrete blocks on the out side. (wide enough to roll frame out) Stretched (2) 2x12s across, less chance of boards rolling off blocks. Plus spreads load out on body. Supported middle of boards after frame was moved.
Maybe not the best way but it worked.
disconnect Steering?
Gas tank wiring?
fuel line?
Break lines?
back up light wiring?
Hope my hard learned lessons can help.

Subject: [Chevelle-List] Body

What a surprise. Not one body bolt was a problem getting off. Had them all off in 30 minutes. I still have to come up with a way to lift the body. Has anyone made a dolly to hold the body? Any plans out there? I'm planning on using 4x4's.
