I spent alot of time trying to mount a small block on the wrong mounts doing an engine swap this year.  There is no way it could be done short of enlarging the holes in the engine mounts and driving the bolts in with your biggest hammer.  And then probably not.  It became very apparent that I needed the correct mounts. 
 
If the mounts look stock, then I think you could put your mind at ease about engine mounts

Frame brackets for 68-72 are the same for all except 307. 1968 327,69-72 350 & 1968-72 big blocks take the same engine mount. 64-67 frame brackets are different for sb and BB. Since 64 didn't have a BB and 65 only had 201 you would have to use 66-67 BB frame brackets.
