I have a black dyed (previously gold) dash on my Elky that
I dyed 10 years ago or so and it still looks good so this works.

some parts
Tim, You can dye your interior parts black with vinyl prep
& vinyl dye. Many OEM interior parts came to the dealership in one color
only ( mostly tan and the bodyshop tech dyed it) If you prep the parts
correctly and use good quailty prep & dye it will last a long time. On the
steering wheel you would be better off replacing it.

I have a green interior that I want to make black. My
dash pad is in good shape, minor cracking on the corners. Really not
bad at all. Although the whole interior is old and dirty.
Steering wheel is cracked. But I got it if you can get me black
replacements. :)
