I need some input here gang. While I was at the car show in Wildwood back in September, I was approached by someone that wanted to use my 70 in an independant film. I said I would think about it and I was told I would have been contacted about it later that week. No one ever called. I received a call today around 10:30 am from the girl in charge of the film stating that they had a car lined up, but the owner was a no show. At first back in September, I was told the car was going to do nothing except be parked in a parking lot and used as scenery I guess. Upon the call today, she told me that they wanted it for 4 days total, it was going to be driven in while shooting the film, and there was to be a camera mounted either on or in it. My question is, where does liability fall in the event something should happen to it or someone whould get injured while using it in this manner? I have already ruled out even the remote possibility of letting them use it, I just want to know what the consensus is here. In all seriousness, no one else is driving it except me period. Would any of you let a stranger get behind the wheel of a 12 second car knowing that you know they do not know how that car handles?
