I am looking to finally get wipers working on my 68 and I know that has the bolt down for the non hidden wiper motor. My question is there a way to bolt in a hidden wiper motor as I have that motor and transmission w/ out a major effort tryibg to make sure the motor is position right?. I have seen what almost looks to be a plate that is behind the hidden wiper motors on most of the 68 and 69's. What is this? Maybe it is an adapter plate? And why don't the 70's chevelles have it? I assume cause their firewall was designed for those hidden wiper style motors only?
My other question comes to linkage/transmission... I have the hidden wiper linkage/transmission and motor as I said before. Can I use that linkage/transmission with the non-hidden wiper motor or are the pieces different? Thanks in advance.
