[Chevelle-List] Changing Engines

Hi all,   I have “lurked” on this list for a while now and I must say that I am quite impressed that so many people are willing to give their knowledge and experience to help out those of us that are new to the restoration hobby.  Thank you for your help.  Now for another question…   I currently have a ’69 Malibu with a 230 ci. 6 cyl. under the hood, with a 3 speed manual transmission.  I also have a 396 ci. Big Block and a 4 speed manual transmission that I want to put in the Malibu.  My question is…will I need to change anything to the suspension, rear end, etc… to accommodate the engine swap?  Any help is greatly appreciated.     Thanks, Don ’69 Chevelle Malibu
