I don't have any personal experience with Pertronix but I've heard a lot of good things about them. They use them a lot in my Opel GT club. Accel makes a simple bolt in electronic distributor also. That's what I have in my chevelle. At any rate, I recommend changing over to electronic unless you just want to stay original. Don
