My advice is never buy used parts sight-unseen unless you know and trust the
seller.

Maybe there is a list member who lives near the seller and would check them
out for you (although I've heard stories of people buying parts/cars that
they were sent to check on for somebody else, so you have to be careful who
you trust there too).

First time buying a used part sight unseen - total $150 .  Seller didn't
have pictures, but has emailed me the condition and based on description is
acceptable to me.  I like to trust people, but also don't want to be out
$150.   Any advice or recommended way to exchange money and merchandise in
the event the parts have been misrepresented or not shipped at all?  I
would prefer to pick these up, but it's a 6 hr one way ride.
