Be sure you fill the torque converter first. Then fill the trans till it says full on the dip stick. Start it up and run for a minute and recheck. Remember, the trans has to be hot for an accurate fill. And on a level surface. Don't worry about air pockets. There are none. At the factory we fill the converter first, then it goes in a test machine that fills the rest of the trans. After the trans is started, the valve body and pressure lines will fill and your level will drop. You don't need to fill the converter full. About half or better will do. The pump will fill it up the rest of the way. Don't overfill. It will foam out but it won't hurt anything. Just messy.
