Maybe I'll sell you my 69 if I ever get it back!

I was going to go w/ Dusk Blue Metallic, but black could be arranged. The interior is indeed being redone in black.

Seriously, you probably wouldn’t want to pay for what I have into it, and I'm hoping to drive it at least once in my lifetime.

What I really want is a 69 Elky,Herb. My father bought a new 69 SS off the showroom floor and I've always had special feelings for that year.(had a Motion Performance 69 Nova, too, but that's another story). What I would like to find is a car with decent paint & body(preferrably Black/Black),something that can be lived with for awhile. A big block is preferred but not mandatory. Really want a four speed car so I can switch it over to a T56 in the future. Since I plan on eventually building the car from the ground up,a good daily driver is really what I'm looking for. If someone would be interested,I have a 91 Chevy custom ext.cab truck I would trade.(lowered, phantom grill,C5 rear pan, custom interior,Alpine stereo w/sub,etc) I bought the truck new so it's a known quality. Dale Mac has seen it. Hate to part with it but I really want to build another Elky,,a serious one this time.(even more than the 68)

Anyway,I can pay cash or trade

That's good to hear Clint!  I know what you mean about having El Caminos in the blood, they're kinda like women, once you've been there, you keep going back! ;)

What year Elky are you looking for?  What shape, engine, etc?

Anyways, welcome back.

Been doing pretty well,Herb. Still kicking, anyway.<g> No,I didn't make the Bristol event, unfortunately, but I finally checked out your website. Nice site and awesome car! I just can't get El Caminos outta my blood so I've decided to build another one.

Besides,I've missed all you guys on the Chevelle list.
