Thanks Tom.  I did a little research last night and from what I could find it looks like 3/4 and 1 ton pickups used 1/2 studs while 3/4 and 1 ton Suburbans and vans used 9/16 studs.

The reason I asked is because last weekend I picked up a '87 Jimmy that has a set of 1 ton axles w/ a 4" lift.  A set of 16.5" aluminum wheels and BFG tires were included in the deal and I wanted to get a set of chrome lug nuts so I could put them on.

Does anyone know what the wheel stud thread size/count is on a 1977 1-ton Chevy truck?  Thanks.

Herb

I have a 77 1 ton rear in my back yard and as far as I know they are 1/2" threads, not sure of the count though.
