If it were me , I would get a
steering column with out the shifter . Install the floor shift. Do not
rebuild the column shift( unless you want to use it later.)Money spent on your
rebuild would be about the same or close enough to the price of a good used
one.

I have a tilt steering column with column shift, Does anyone know of a
company that can rebuilt it & convert it to floor shift?
I don't even know if a column shift can be converted to floor
shift.
