Thanks Clint! two more things, 1. do you know if the zr-1 factory 17x11 and 17x9,5 wheels will fit on our chevelles ore are they the wrong backspacing. 2. do you know the diameter and thickness of the front rotors and whether the front calipers are two or four piston.

There are some auto ZR-1's running around there but they weren't built that way from the factory. Everyone I talk to that has a new Dodge has nothing but great things to say about it. If you are in the market for a new truck, I urge you to go drive a new Dodge. You'll be very surprised. I'm not a die hard fan of ANY brand. I love my Chevelle but believe me, GM seems to have no loyalty to me as a classic GM owner, so why should I care if I support them. Plus with bonehead moves like discontinuing the Caprice and giving all the fleet business to Ford's Crown Vic (cop cars, cabs etc...) and dropping the Firechicken and Camaro... well, they're just plain out of the loop!
