H, I've had problems with some leakage when I've tried using the rubber gaskets
supplied with the manifold gasket set. I don't know if is because of the area at
the corners where the rubber and gasket material meet in the corners and/or the
rubber just does not stay in place very well while trying to mate the intake to
the heads. I've just had better luck with the silicone versus the rubber
gasket.

I didn't use the rubber seals that were supplied with the felpro intake gasket set. This was on a big block.
