i have a 7 quart moroso on my 69 and dont have any clearance issues

I would get a moroso pan that holds an extra quart.  Chrome leaks.  I have a

chrome timing chain cover on my 350 in my Olds and it leaked like a sive
till 
i gooped it up with silicone.  The only chrome items on the 454 inthe 70 are

the air cleaner and altenator brackets.  You can also get a new pan from GM 
at either GMpartsdirect.com or from a local dealer.
