ok here goes. you may want to look closely at the doors. in 1970 i bought a totaled 1968 El Camino. i replaced  the drivers door with a door from a 1968 malibu 2 door hardtop. i used the top half from the el camino and the hard top door. it was a case of taking the two door apart and putting them back together. if the top portion bolts to the door frame you may be able to do it. i have never seen this in a Hollander  book or  any other  parts interchange book but i did do it.
