I'm still waiting on my El Camino. I just sent the guy another thousand dollars. We're up to $6k now, and the body has not been taken off the frame and I've supplied all of the parts, so I hope we're getting to the end of the road.
Ron says he needs to cut the rear marker hole in the new panel and then give it one more coat of primer & block it one more time, and then he'll be ready to paint it. I've asked him to try to "plow through" whatever else needs to be done and get this over with. As usual, this has taken way longer and cost more than I had anticipated. I suppose that's always the story.
