Title: Rebuilding a z-bar
Anyone ever rebuilt a z-bar (bellcrank) for a ‘64? How does the ball-stud at the end come out? I’ve removed the retaining ring but the ball stays put. Am I just not yanking hard enough (all right, all right, stop chuckling...no jokes please, just advice).
Noticed also that I need two springs (clutch linkage return springs) to install the z-bar in place, however all the catalogs I have only show spring sets for 66-67 (two different sizes) and 68-72 (both identical sizes). I’m assuming the springs for 66-67 will work for me as well...correct?
Thanks,
Kurt
