$130 a set of four? Sounds cheap but it's $450 in 2001
money. Mid 70's I was earning probably $200 a week, now about $1200 and
I'm still looking at $200/$300 a piece wheels with wonderment at the
prices. Time marches on...<G>

Midwest Chevelles
American Racing/U.S. Mags built the INDY style mag in
the 70's, when I worked for them. They were Slotted and were either polished
or natural Aluminum. They were the STANDARD for the market, for the average
buyer. There were copies that were not solid, one piece wheels, sold by the
bargin marketers. Don't know there value today, but they were pretty
inexpensive in those days, 14x6, 14x7, $130 a set!!

Back in 1970 I had a set of wheels that everyone called "Indy
Mags". Is anyone familiar with these wheels & does anyone
