hey don that's to much for that car, i would be worth about 600 and the big block 1500 maybe 2000, if you heard it run, you. can buy these cars all day long for 5000 to 15000, it would be hard for you to spend any less getting the other fix up,  its too easy to get over your head on this year chevelle, because just about everything on this car is in reproduction,, and if you look around hard enough you can find the original parts to  make you a ss clone or better yet a yenko clone is where the money is (that's my opinion) ive restored three 69 chevelle, these car where bare hulk,s, which i paid less then 300 dollars to start with and about 8000m grand and a 1000 man hours you can whip one out,  but don't start with a 3500 dollar car , you better off with a shell, good luck, James
