Thanks Bill, that helped out a great deal. I didn't want to change them out and when I got ready to put on the valve covers back on they wouldn't fit.

Are we talking about the same thing? I know "poly locks" as a replacement to the nut that holds the rocker arms on....the ones I used were maybe 1 inch to 1-1/4 high....and when installed, they were only like a 1/2 inch higher that the rocker arm itself. There was plenty of room. If you are talking about some that have a "girdle", then there may be interference.
