I don't know the details, and don't know if the guy was trustworthy or not.
But I talked to a guy that said he owned a restoration shop. He said guys
bring things in all the time that used that stuff, and asks him to TRY to
restore it. Notice they said it lasts 2 to 3 years. Then what? I am assuming
from what that guy told me it starts peeling and things get pretty ugly.
I really don't know how trustworthy that guy was, so this is only one
unreliable story I heard. I'd like to hear more as well. But as for now,
I'll stick with quality chrome products. I'm not racing so I'll take a few
heavier parts that are prettier (if chromed) and stronger as well.
