Title: Rust on fuse box connections
I maybe would use WD-40 to retirve the parts from there frozen state. but for a finial assembly I would use
a spray CRC contact cleaner, or a product called De-OX.  It's a cleaner and anti oxidation spray compound...
I also like to  use the sprial pencel like artist type eraser as a burnishing /cleaner tool on the  fuse clipes ..

Subject: [Chevelle-List] Rust on fuse box connections

Found a little rust on the fuse connectors on my 64s fuse box some of the old fuses are rusted in their sockets.

Im planning on spraying a little WD-40 on them, removing the old fuses, attacking the rust with a wire brush, blowing it all clean and dry, then installing new fuses.

Anyone see an issue with this?  Im pretty sure that WD-40 dries clean, without any flammable residue.

Thanks,

Kurt
