Speaking of unusual SBC valve covers,I have a pair made by the Gennie Shifter Co. back in 1987. If anyone has seen a photo of a Phase One LT5(ZR-1) engine,these DOHC-look valve covers look almost identical to those. They are two-piece,say "16 Valve" on top,and are very,very rare. So much so that I have only seen one pair on a twin-blown 57 Chevy truck that won its class in its ISCA division. As these would really set off a high-end street rod engine compartment,I've planned to sell them when I get the chance. But,who knows,I might install them on my 69 Elky's 355" until I can get a BBC built for it. One of these days,I'll take some digital photos of them to share with you folks. They are very trick.
