My Two Cents...   Say what you will about GM, but Dodge did the same (actually worse) to the Charger name back in the '80's (anybody remember the Daytona Chargers?).   And, for Ford -- what about the scrawny Mustang II's of the mid to late '70's?  What about the new Thunderbird?   I'm all for GM stepping up to the plate with a new V8 RWD performance car, and -- if they can do a good job of it and have the vehicle be worthy of the respect that the name deserves -- I don't have a problem at all with them resurrecting the Chevelle name.   Galen   ----- Original Message ----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, March 05, 2003 8:31 PM Subject: Re: [Chevelle-List] 2005 Chevelle I was just thinking more on this.  GM also destroyed the Monte Carlo and the Impala.  If they end up doing the same to the Camaro, I think I will shake my head down towards GM and go buy a Dodge.
