I was just talking with the company that makes the patch panels we sell regarding the absence of a 1966-67 rear quarter lower patch for the El Camino. they told me that the only difference between the Chevelle & El Camino rear quarter lower patch is that angle of the rear-most edge. Apparently on the Chevelle it rises up sooner and at more of an angle, and on the El Camino the patch needs to be about 4" longer and straighter at the back. They said that the Chevelle patch could be made to fit an El Camino if you could salvage the last 5 or 6 inches of the original panel (or fabricate it), and then mate it to the Chevelle patch.
Anyway, I just thought that was an interesting thing that maybe some of the 66-67 El Camino owners didn't know about. John Nasta ----------------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe please visit www.chevelles.net/list.html To start a new topic, send mail to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
