Chuck (ACES1) offered his knowledge on a 66 L79 Chevelle - there aren't
any. It's fine for the owner of the car in question to claim a 327/350,
but unless he can document the engine is what he says and it is original
to the car, I'd put it in the same category as all the 396/375hp and LS6
Chevelles that are claimed. A sticker doesn't make it so.

I'd say half your books are "assuming" there was or are including the
Chevy II and/or the Corvette lineup in their 327/350 engine findings.
Being from Missouri, I have to see documented GM proof of anything being
available or being correct, not just what someone has surmised based on
possibly related facts and there are so many "...by the numbers..." and
"...restoration guides..." out there that simply parrot another that I
question every one of them.
