Well, I found out why my freshly built motor started running like crap after just a couple moments of glory on the road.. Upon pulling the passenger side valve cover, I discovered that the #6 intake valve rocker arm had shifted, and that the corresponding pushrod had snapped in TWO. Thankfully, nothing seems to be wrong with the lifter or the rocker arm, but I was really surprised b/c these were brand spanking new pushrods (from CompCams I believe).
