Thanks for your input! As I suspected, the carburator is a tad to large? The air/fuel mixture gets a bit too "wet"!? Maybe that's the cause of the gas smell in the cup�? (not too bad now) I've sealed all the joints so nothing is leaking from the exhaust system any more!
