I did a 350/TH350 to 396/TH400 swap a few years ago on my '69. I had the TH350 driveshaft shortened and the TH400 yoke put on it. I'm not sure by how much it was shortened, but I can measure how long it is now. At the time, I just told my driveshaft shop the swap I was doing and they had the measurements. The crossmember will work, you just have to use frame wholes that are further back. And I think the tranny mount is the same. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong about that.

Well we have the th350 to th400 swap going here and just wanted to see if anyone had the measurment or even if anyone had a th400 drive shaft for a 68 model. I know the yoke is different and it needs the elec kickdown... But will the same crossmember work? Does it require a different tranny mount? Thanks for the help fellas... keep finding kinda vauge and conunter dicting info on this so figured I'd see if any listers have done it or can help.

Gotta get my beast ready to rock for the Car Craft Summer Nationals in mid-july :)
