John, it would seem to me that you would have grounds to sue this guy. At the very least, get some of your money back.

And to think that I haven't even mentioned yet that when Ron removed and
re-installed the gas tank, he left a 6-inch piece of rubber line between the
sending unit and the main steel fuel line that had black tape electrical
wrapped around it. I don't know if Ron put the tape there or just left it
there, but this is the kind of quick and dirty b.s. that you can expect if
you hire him. For the sake of about 25 cents worth of rubber hose, my whole
car could have gone up in flames if not for the fact that I have had to
check and repair all of Ron's work.

I have ordered a couple of floor pan sections and will get that fixed
properly. I will also get the holes in the outer wheelhouses fixed. I don't
think I will be able to do anything about the quarter panel being hung wrong
or the general condition of the finish, but suffice to say that really the
whole car has to be done over, and the $9,000 that I paid to Ron was money
right out the window.
