If you have a Positraction rear end, your spare should be the same size (overall diameter) as the rear tires - unless it physically won't fit on the front if need be. Posi doesn't like two different sized tires (overall) on the rear. Without Positraction, I'd go with a space saver if possible or a minimum of something like a 205/70-14.
