Take it to a windshield dealer they have the "right stuff" to make that little button adhere to the windshield.  Cost, mine did it for free (tipped him though)  The stuff tht you purchase over the counter is good but you have to watch it when you put that button on the glass. Many people put it on backwards.  Go to the dealer it's worth the trip.  Bob
