I don't think it would affect a stripe kit, but the doors are different. There is a crease line (I'm looking for a different word here) in the Chevelle doors that the El Camino doors do not have.
Yes, I have seen a Yenko striped El Camino. There was one for sale in this area a few years ago. I have a few pics I snapped of it. A passenger rear 3/4 shot, a hood shot, and interior.
