I just learned the 4 speed linkage is mounted to the crossmember on 72 Chevelles. Does anyone know where the propper placement of the bracket that is available to be welded to the crossmember, or is it easy to figure out when you see it out of the car. I am switching from a M-21 to a New Process A-833 and it does not have the front set of mounting threads as in the muncie case for my current shifter, it just has the rear and the shifter would mount to close to the seat. I have to get the right shifter and linkage set-up for the car then all should work. If anyone has pictures or a link I would be appreciative. Also if anyone has the shifter and linkage I need I would be interested. I have looked at this car in my garage for over 10 years and need to get it done so I can start enjoying it.
