When I was young I traveled a lot and didnt have a car. Sometimes I would get a car from one of the agencies (I forget what you call them, but they're in the Yellow Pages) that arrange for people to deliver a car cross-country for free. The driver gets transportation, and pays for the gas. The owner pays the agency a fee. I dont know how much, but I'd imagine it's low.
