My '66 Chevelle SS has a Hurst Shifter installed by a previous owner. It works nice and is tight. However at some point down the road I plan on doing a frame off restoration and putting modifications back to stock. Has anyone bought the '66 - '67 aftermarket Muncie 4 spd shift assemblies made to GM spec's offered in Ground Up, Paddock etc.. Are they any good? I've seen from time to time used original shifters with gates / rods on Ebay and wondering which way to go?
